Role Overview
We are expanding our San Francisco/Bay Area sales team and looking for a driven, relationship focused field sales professional who thrives meeting business owners face to face and prospecting creatively to connect with local decision makers.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to own a large territory, build a long term book of business, and generate recurring residual income by helping local businesses & restaurants modernize their payments and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Build and own your territory: Own a defined territory and build your pipeline through in market prospecting, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach to local businesses.
- Meet with business owners: Spend at least 60% of your time in market meeting face to face with restaurant, retail, and service business owners to understand how they operate and identify opportunities to improve payments, POS, and business workflows.
- Run the full sales cycle: Manage the entire sales process from first conversation through proposal, install coordination & activation with dedicated internal team, and merchant onboarding.
- Build a book of business: Develop long term relationships with merchants that generate recurring residual income, referrals, and additional expansion opportunities.
- Operate with autonomy: Manage your territory, schedule, and pipeline with high autonomy while maintaining strong pipeline discipline in the CRM.
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in field sales working with small or mid sized businesses in the SF/Bay Area territory
- Experience selling into restaurants, retail, hospitality, or local service businesses is a strong plus but not required
- Comfort prospecting in person and building relationships with local business owners
- Ability to manage a full sales cycle from prospecting through closing and activation
- Highly self motivated with strong organization and personal accountability
- Comfort learning new technology platforms and communicating value in simple practical terms
- Existing merchant relationships or local referral networks are a plus but not required
Our compensation model rewards both new sales and long term merchant relationships.
Compensation structure includes:
- 30% upfront commission paid bi weekly on activated accounts
- 30–50% monthly residual income on payment processing revenue
- 30% of net profit on POS hardware sales
